My Park
This is my Park I designed for home work. It's called Awesome Park. Because it's Awesome.
I put all sorts of things like rugby fields, a pound and even a splash pad. We had to add measurement like area and perimeter.

Mathletics reflection
For the past few weeks the year 5 and 6 students have been doing Mathletics. Mathletics is an inter school competition judged by Havelook North Intermediate's Mr Ford. We have to make a poster poster with symmetrical designs on them. We have had some different examples that we mixed and matched to create our own.
Here is my reflection.

This is my computer design I did on Google drawing.
Here is my reflection.
Reflection for Mathletics
Something I was pleased with was that I got lots of comments from my friends on my design because at first I didn’t think it was that great.
I really enjoyed learning what mathletics was because I had lots of fun making designs.
Something I found hard was getting everything exact and symmetrical because I find it hard to be exact.
Something that made me think was what my design was going to be like because I had no idea where to start.
Something I want to get better at is being exact.

Cosmos kennel
For maths we have been designing dog kennels. The measurements of the wood were 12 by 24. We had to find the measurements for the sides and faces. We then had to find out how much wood we had used and how much we had left over. When then worked on figuring out the percentage used. It was very hard!

Kensuke's kingdom map
This is my own version of the map in a book called My map
Kensuke's kingdom by Michel Morporgo. At the
moment it is our class book and so far it has been
really cool.

My 100M maths garden
Here is my first maths post for 2013.
It's a garden that has a perimeter of one hundred metres
and is cut into quarters.
The quarters are flowers, veges, maze, fun.
